Our website has a comprehensive range of information that will help you make an informed decision concerning the training we provide.

This student agreement contains general information regarding the services we provide. Course specific information is located on our website for each specific course. The course specific information will provide you an indication of what is in the course and the assessments required, as well as vocational outcomes.

Unique Student Identifier (USI) The Unique Student Identifier is a National Government initiative for all students from 1st January 2015. Your USI account will contain all of your nationally recognised training records and results completed from 1st January 2015 onwards. This will assist when you are commencing employment with a new employer or if you are commencing study with a new training organisation. Every student from January 1 2015 is required to provide Worth First Aid Training with a verified USI before we can issue any certification. For further information on what a USI is and how this number will affect you please refer to the Worth First Aid Training website, or to the USI website: https://www.usi.gov.au/

Enrolment Enrolment and admission into some of Worth First Aid Training courses are subject to meeting certain prerequisite conditions. Specific details of the prerequisites pertaining to these training courses are contained in individual course documentation and are made available prior to enrolment. All course information is located on our website. In the case that a potential student does not meet the prerequisite conditions, we will endeavour to assist you in understanding your options regarding meeting the standards. The course fee may be paid direct to the trainer, with no further enrolment fees required to be paid to Worth First Aid Training in this case. Course Fees Each qualification, unit of competency or course offered by Worth First Aid Training and or a third-party delivering training on their behalf has a specific course fee. The course fee is the maximum fee that may be charged to the student for their selected course. Course fees are set at competitive rates and will be advised prior to the enrolment in a course. These fees may vary from course to course. Fees and charges are available on request by telephoning Worth First Aid Training Contact Centre 0497548948 or the third-party delivering training on behalf of Worth First Aid Training prior to enrolling into this course.

All fees will be paid according to the fee structure provided prior to enrolment. It is our policy that the course fee will be all-inclusive. Students will not be 'surprised' by unexpected requirements, fees or expenses.

Where additional resources normally associated with a program of study are required (e.g. reference material, research documents, own computer) the student will be clearly advised of exactly what is required in the course materials or enrolment confirmation for the program. There are no additional fees associated with your training, except for cancellation fees or replacement of resources.

Payments

All payments are final and payments are non-refundable.

Prior to receiving the course information for a Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course, payment is non-refundable, however the course fees can be transferred to another participant for a Worth First Aid Training online course enrolment for period of time up to 90 days from the original payment date.

Course fees are due and payable at the time of enrolment unless otherwise negotiated. No Statement of Attainment or Qualification will be issued until full and final payment has been received.

Refund Policy and Cancellation

When an applicant accepts a place offered by Worth First Aid Training and pays the fees, it means a binding contract is created between the student and Worth First Aid Training. Notification of cancellation/withdrawal from unit/s of competency, withdrawal or deferral from a course of study must be made in writing to Worth First Aid Training. In the case of cancellation/withdrawal, the following cancellation and rescheduling fees will apply:

- When there is a cancellation/withdrawal/deferral from any unit/s of competency, the course fees paid are forfeited.

- When there is a cancellation/withdrawal/deferral/non-attendance from a 2-day face to face course, the course fees paid are forfeited.

- When there is a cancellation/withdrawal/deferral/non-attendance from a Standard MHFA for the Workplace course, the course fees paid are forfeited.

- When there is a cancellation/withdrawal/deferral/non-attendance from a Standard MHFA Refresher course, the course fees paid are forfeited.

- When there is a cancellation/withdrawal/deferral/non-attendance from a Youth MHFA Refresher course, the course fees paid are forfeited.

- When there is a cancellation/withdrawal/deferral/non-attendance from a Youth MHFA course, the course fees paid are forfeited.

- When there is a cancellation/withdrawal/deferral/non-attendance from a Standard MHFA for Tertiary Students course, the course fees paid are forfeited.

- When there is a rescheduling from a Standard MHFA for the Workplace course a rescheduling fee of $119 applies*.

- When there is a rescheduling from a Standard MHFA Refresher course a rescheduling fee of $119 applies*.

- When there is a rescheduling from a Youth MHFA Refresher course a rescheduling fee of $119 applies*.

- When there is a rescheduling from a Youth MHFA course a rescheduling fee of $159 applies*.

- When there is a rescheduling from a Standard MHFA for Tertiary Students course a rescheduling fee of $119 applies*.

Worth First Aid Training reserves the right to cancel, postpone or re-schedule courses due to low enrolments or unforeseen circumstances. Should this occur a refund (excluding the eLearning component cost and/or the manual component cost), or, an opportunity to reschedule (without penalty) will be offered. Worth First Aid Training reserves the right to change course fees, dates, content, trainers or method of presentation at its discretion.

* For Worth First Aid Training MHFA online courses, rescheduling is only permitted to another Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course and is subject to availability.

- Organisations invoiced for 3 participants or more, subject to availability, the rescheduling fee of $119 will be waived for 1 rescheduling for the individual participant enrolment, however any further rescheduling for the same participant the rescheduling fee of $119 applies. Participants may be required to reschedule to a different date to other participants also needing rescheduling from the organisation. MHFAA has a maximum amount of time for participants to attend a course to become accredited and for some course types and this rescheduling option may go beyond MHFAA’s allowable timeframe. Worth First Aid Training accepts no responsibility if a participant chooses this option to reschedule their enrolment and is unable to become accredited due to being unable to reschedule to a Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course beyond MHFAA’s allowable timeframe to become accredited.

- After receiving the course information for a Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course, if a participant requests to reschedule to a future Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course and the participant provides another paying participant to join the Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course that they are enrolled in, the rescheduling fee of $119 will be waived.

- After receiving the course information for a Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course, a participant requesting to reschedule to a future Worth First Aid Training MHFA course can choose to be notified the day before of a Worth First Aid Training MHFA course that is not at capacity and be rescheduled to the Worth First Aid Training MHFA course the following day with no rescheduling fee. This option is only available for one notification for the original enrolment, and, after being notified one time for this option and a participant requests to be rescheduled, the rescheduling fee of $119 is payable to reschedule to another Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course. Mental Health First Aid Australia (MHFAA) has a maximum amount of time for participants to attend a course to become accredited and for some course types this rescheduling option may go beyond MHFAA’s allowable timeframe. Worth First Aid Training accepts no responsibility if a participant chooses this option to reschedule their enrolment and is unable to become accredited due to being unable to reschedule to a Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course beyond MHFAA’s allowable timeframe to become accredited.

- After receiving the course information for a Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course, if a participant requests to be rescheduled to a Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course that is not at the MHFAA standard capacity of participants, the participant's enrolment can be rescheduled with no fee, however if after rescheduling, the rescheduled Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course nears the MHFAA standard capacity of participants prior to the course date, an invoice for the rescheduling fee of $119 is payable to confirm the rescheduling of the enrolment. This option is only available for one rescheduling for the original enrolment, and, after requesting to be rescheduled using this option a rescheduling fee of $119 is payable to reschedule to another Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course. MHFAA has a maximum amount of time for participants to attend a course to become accredited and for some course types and this rescheduling option may go beyond MHFAA’s allowable timeframe. Worth First Aid Training accepts no responsibility if a participant chooses this option to reschedule their enrolment and is unable to become accredited due to being unable to reschedule to a Worth First Aid Training MHFA online course beyond MHFAA’s allowable timeframe to become accredited.
